The Level of Atrial Natriuretic Peptide Associated with Gestational Age, Birth Weight, Type of Delivery and Asphyxiated Condition

Abstract
Atrial natriuretic peptide is a polypeptide hormone with strong vasodilating, diuretic and natriuretic properties, which is synthesized and secreted by myocytes in atrium and has effects on kindey, adrenal gland and blood vessels. But little is
known
about its metabolism, secretion and role in the human fetus.
@EN 1. The difference between umbilical arterial and umbilical venous atrial natriuretic peptide concentration was not significant. And both atrial natriuretic peptide concentrations of umbilical artery and vein wee significantly higher than that
of
maternal vein (P<0.05).
